My Name is Sam Kasirer-Smibert. I had my first solo show in November of 2015 entitled Atro Versiamo at the Victoria Hall art gallery in Westmount Montreal. I received a Bachelor's of Fine arts specializing in Painting and drawing in 2019 from Concordia University. I am also part of a Montreal based inter-displinary art collective called; the Kalyx collective, and presented my first performative painting pieces during their event In Bloom, Flora and Labyrinth. I am based in Montreal I have upcoming shows at Victoria Hall art Gallery in westmount next summer from July 15-August 16, 2022. I am currently preparing for my next two-man exhibition at the Victoria Hall Art Gallery from March 7- April 8 2022, and will have my sixth solo show in the Spring at Espace JeromeB in Montreal. With an upcoming solo vitrine exhibition at Tangled Arts and Disability in Toronto.

I was in a bus accident as a teenager and this near death experience was a catalyst for my art-making.
